It was fine to be late at college because your teachers were usually lenient with you because they treated you like children and let you be.
However, in the workplace, you are considered an adult and must learn to function on your own. Being late for work is a no-no, especially in your first job. Every day, be on time. That is one way to demonstrate your commitment to the position.
2- Show respect:
Even if your office has employees close to your age, it isn’t the place to be all friendly. Respect everyone, young and old, and maintain respectful communication with everyone.
3- Avoid gossiping sessions:
This advice applies to all employees, not just new ones, but it is especially important in the first job. You will hear stories and rumours, but never add your own, and never spread these stories. Avoid gossips and gossipers with tactfully.

5- Never compromise your values and morals:
